A test-pitting training exercise was conducted on 25th and 26th July 2013 by GamArch with support from Jigsaw Cambridgeshire at 21 Station Road (TP1) and 4 Church End (TP2). The exercise produced small and medium quantities of finds dating from medieval to modern periods, suggesting that there has been significant occupation on the sites, which are in close proximity to the church, in particular at 4 Church End.
